Chateau by the Sea 13C

We’ve stayed at Chateau by the Sea 14C several times and hope to come back this fall. We rented it in Feb 2024, and it’s a lovely place to relax on vacation, with beautiful decor and all the amenities. The furniture is comfortable for conversation or watching a movie. The ground floor makes it easy to step out to the pool or the bulkhead overlooking the beach. Parking is ample and close to the front door, and you don’t need to use stairs unless you’re heading to the beach. The rental is right next to a public ramp, so if someone has trouble walking or you’re bringing a huge beach setup, you can drive your car onto the sand right in front of the condo in two minutes.

A comfortable, relaxed place with awesome views, private beach access, and a swimming pool. Restaurants and shopping are a short distance away. Great vacation spot for the price.

My wife has been coming here since she was a little girl, and now we bring our kids to keep the tradition going. We’re never disappointed. We’ve especially loved the recent upgrades to 14C, with beautiful new floors and bathrooms. The owner has put a lot into making our stay exceptional, and we were relieved to see the extra cleaning between visits when we were concerned about COVID-19. There’s a gorgeous ocean view, a great pool, quiet surroundings, and amazing landscaping. You can get tacos or ice cream right across the street. We just don’t think anything else in NSB comes close to this special little place.

We stayed in 13C for a family gathering across several units at Chateau By the Sea over Thanksgiving 2016. The unit was very updated, and the ocean view was unmatched. With three young kids, we loved the grassy area between the unit and pool where they could run around. The employees keep the grounds beautifully manicured, and the pool is great. New Smyrna is a lovely vacation town, with great restaurants and friendly people everywhere. I hope to return to Chateau this fall and for many years after.
