Leslie was a gracious host and easy to work with. The condo had beach towels, chairs, toys and an umbrella, so flying in without beach gear would be fine. We stayed in unit 112, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom place with everything we needed and two futons in the living room. It works well for a couple or small family. The ocean, pool and our parking spot were all about 50 steps away. My wife and I travel to beaches often, and Ocean Reef’s pool deck is one of the nicest we’ve seen. November was off-season, so we barely waited for dining.

The pool was like bath water 😍. This is truly right on the beach, close to everything and in a convenient central spot, but it wasn’t too loud or crowded.

Great ocean views from both the room and pool. It’s an easy walk to the beach, around 200 steps.

Linda in management is great and really helpful. The location is excellent, with everything we needed close by, and Daytona is only minutes away for more shopping or dining. I recommend the place and expect to return, though maybe in a different month. I’ve been coming here on and off since the early 90s. December can be a rough time for maintenance work. Last year the pool was being fixed and stayed closed for our entire two-week visit. There were repairs on the upper floors, wood boards to walk across with a drop below, caution tape across parts of the parking lot, and work on the building sides that meant keeping a few blinds closed. This year we woke up to loud pressure washers cleaning the upper walkways and stairs. The exterior is clean and well maintained, though.
