As new short-term rental owners, my family and I were anxious about stepping into unfamiliar territory. Margy Roe made the start smooth, helping us sign with the agency and get set up. She was patient, thorough, and professional. After we came aboard, Ashley Clay, the maintenance manager, was equally great to work with: honest and transparent, helpful, kind, and a pleasure. Dana Wall and Carol Swan have also been a big help on the administrative side, guiding us through owner statements and explaining charges. 10/10, this team makes things easy for owners, and I'd recommend them.

I signed on with Ocean Properties this year to manage my condo rentals, and things went well until several leaks and water damage hit my unit late in the summer. Ashley was amazing through it all. She suggested resources, helped coordinate the work, and even met the workers when I couldn't be there. The unit is fully repaired and booked for the whole winter season. I couldn't have gotten it back up and running without her. She went above and beyond.

UPDATE: After I asked for the refund they promised but never sent, they blocked me on Airbnb. Renter beware. I arrived around 8 pm after a long travel day, but the unit's keyless code didn't work. I called the supposedly 24/7 hotline again and again for nearly two hours without getting an answer, so I had to book a hotel for the night. Luckily I was alone and could find a room on short notice. Ocean Properties didn't respond until I went to their office the next day. At first, they offered to reimburse me for the missed night and hotel, provide a gift card, and give me 15% off a future stay. When I explained that our weekend was already booked with wedding events, they offered to refund the missed night and hotel and convert the gift card to cash, but said I'd lose the 15% discount. That wasn't very accommodating. I'd book with a different management company. I'm waiting for their reply explaining how they “went above & beyond industry standards” 😏
