Southwind Condos by Ocean Properties

A quiet, secure place to rent, and the upkeep is good. Every unit has a balcony facing the beach with an unobstructed view.

As a kid, I spent every summer here in room 901. The staff knew us from one year to the next. There was tether ball, shuffleboard, tennis, and a pool table on the top floor. I'd love to bring my own kids back someday.

The ocean views from the master bedroom, living room, and balcony are incredible, and the beach has lovely crashing waves and shells to pick up. There's also a nice sitting spot overlooking the water, good for sunbathing by day or stargazing at night. The condo itself is modern and clean, with a larger kitchen layout than most places we've stayed and up-to-date appliances in our unit. But be warned about the pool. We measured it at 67 degrees, so it was basically unusable, and the kids were heartbroken when they touched the water. Staff at the condo office told me not to assume the advertised “seasonally heated” period starts in December or even January. If we'd known there was no heated pool in December, our family would have booked somewhere else.

The grounds looked perfectly cared for, and the women's restroom by the pool was spotless. Wonderful work 👏
