AC Hotel by Marriott New York Times Square

The room was spacious and in great condition, with a comfortable bed and a quiet atmosphere that made for a peaceful night. From the 18th floor, I could see the Empire State Bldg. The neighborhood and block are on par with the rest of midtown, and the location is close to everything. What made this hotel stand out from the other midtown places I’ve tried was the staff’s care for guests. Peter gave us a warm, efficient welcome and check-in, Ricardo at the front door offered useful advice on Uber versus a taxi, and I had a pleasant chat with the manager in the elevator. Breakfast service at Boqueria was attentive, and the food was delicious. If you’re deciding where to stay in NY, go with the AC Times Square.

The thoughtful anniversary surprise from the manager was so kind and completely unexpected: a small bottle of Spanish red, two lovely chocolate truffles, chocolate-covered pretzels, chili lime plantains, and a handwritten note. He also texted my husband to say to ask if we needed anything else. The restaurant next door, The Bouqeria, was great too. We had a few drinks there, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. We’re Marriott Bonvoy members, and my husband picked this hotel for our quick anniversary weekend. The lobby is lovely, and the front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to welcome us. Our room was a little late, so the concierge did his best to get us settled. It was on the 4th floor, clean, comfortable, and adequate. A wonderful housekeeping staff member brought a very comfortable robe and slippers, which came in handy while I got ready for our evenings out. Being near Times Square was convenient, but I worried about street noise because in some NYC hotels it comes straight through the walls. Here we slept soundly and barely heard much noise. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re in this area.

Raheen made the stay feel special, and we’d choose this hotel again because of him. From our first day, he was warm and friendly, and whatever we needed, whether help, recommendations, or just an answer to a quick question, he made sure we were looked after. It’s rare to meet someone so thoughtful and attentive. His service really made a difference and made our trip memorable. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and in a fantastic location. Antonio, Raheen, and Peter were so kind and accommodating to me and my family. They made us feel genuinely welcome, and I want to thank them personally. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were attentive. I’d been looking forward to enjoying the rooftop with my girls, but the room was still a great choice and very comfortable. The price for a room right in the middle of Times Square was unmatched, too. My girls had a great time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
