Central Park Apartment

For a while I thought it was a great place to crash while I needed to stay in New York. Then one morning I woke up to a mouse digging through my trash. It jumped out and ran under the fridge. I killed it and told the staff, but they blamed me, which didn't surprise me. Since nobody did anything, I handled it myself and found a hole under the refrigerator, plus a huge gap underneath the sink. It was disgusting and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while. I saw a couple more mice during my stay and killed a couple of them. They really should've closed up the holes in that room. I feel bad for whoever's in there now.

I stayed a few nights with a friend in a room with its own bathroom and a kitchenette area. The subway, grocery store, cafe, and Central Park were all within a short walk, which made this a great place to stay. I'd definitely come back again and again.

I stayed here for five months, from April to August. It's been three months since I left, and I'm still trying to get my deposit back with no reply to my emails. I wouldn't advise anyone to rent here. My initial deposit was about a month's rent, around $1500, and it sounds like a fraud.

The whole leasing team was so helpful, and Jenesa was especially wonderful. They made moving in quick and easy. If you're thinking about relocating to the Orlando area, I'd definitely recommend central park.
