That big claw-foot soaking tub is amazing, and the place itself is comfortable, interesting, and unique. You can walk around naked, too. Garry is one of the nicest guys in town, kind and knowledgeable, and he goes above and beyond for guests. My friend and I have had a lot of wonderful stays here, and he makes them even more enjoyable. I don't care what the rest of you dopes say, I highly recommend it. I've been coming back for eight years, and each visit adds to the great memories. It's in a perfect spot for getting anywhere in New York, with the High Line only a short walk away. The room was quiet, comfortable, and old-style. One of the best gay guesthouses I've stayed in. I love it, and the owners are friendly and wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This place has the feel of a haunted mansion from Scooby Doo, which I loved. Chelsea Mews isn't where I'd go for luxe accommodations, but for this price and location, with that vibe, it's right up my alley. I'm already planning another stay. Anyone leaving a bad review for this place and Gary really doesn't know how to enjoy life.

It was my first time there, and I was the only guest that night, but Gary made me feel comfortable. He was great to talk with about the place and the long history and memories he and his partner shared there, along with their guests. I'll definitely be back often. Thank you, Gary, for the great hospitality.

Charles made my week in NYC extra special. From the moment I arrived, I felt more than welcome, and that warm approach lasted through my whole seven-night stay.
