Comfort Inn

We couldn't find a better option, so we stayed one night and went somewhere else the next morning. My wife thought the cleanliness was only marginal. The room itself was okay, and the free breakfast was fine, but the place behind the hotel looked seedy and security seemed minimal. When we arrived, we were told the elevator would be out of service at checkout. Then we got to our room and found the TV on, the bed unmade, and the bathroom light on. It smelled as if someone had just showered.

I’m very particular about bed sheets, and even one speck usually has me calling the front desk. So I was surprised by how clean this hotel was. The bed and bathroom were nice, and the staff were kind. I live nearby and know the area. I just wanted to stay local for a night out, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. I'll stay again.

I needed somewhere close for one night because of the noise my neighbors were making, and this was the only place I could find nearby. It did the job without any problems. The room was big and clean, the bathroom was clean too, but the view was bad. A bit expensive, though I didn't have another option.

The clerk was pleasant, and there's parking at the hotel. For the price, though, it felt like poor value. Nothing was exactly wrong, but the place could be better. It has an 80s-90s feel with renovations laid over it. The room smelled like my grandmother's house, the carpet was old commercial carpet, and the TV was difficult to use. The remote was dirtier than the subway, and the bathroom had some cheap tile renovations. Not awful, not great. Three out of five.
