Days Inn Bronx Near Stadium

The staff greeted me warmly, and both the lobby and room looked clean. The problem was the door lock. My boyfriend and I couldn't get in with our key because of a technical issue. A staff member had to connect the lock to a machine to open the door, which was a major hassle. After that, every time we came back, we had to contact staff, and often it took them several tries to get us in. Without this problem, I would've given the hotel five stars.

I know the area from living nearby. The location doesn't have the nicest views, but the place is safe, clean, and reasonably priced for where it is. You can walk to Yankee Stadium and museums. The one view I disliked was the car junk yard outside the window. The neighborhood is coming up, and new apartment buildings are giving it a facelift. Hopefully it will attract people of all races, cultures, and backgrounds. Don't let the location fool you, it's perfectly safe and I'd recommend it.

A basic, clean room with no frills, good enough for a night. The vending machines weren't working, but there are several stores nearby, so it was an easy fix. The remote didn't work when we arrived, though the front desk sorted it out pretty quickly. It's a cool place to crash.

For the price, it felt in line with the market, and the hotel is better than average if you want to end a night on a good note. It isn't five-star, but it's clean, everything works, and the rooms are actually nice to look at, which matters to me.
