Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Queens/Fresh Meadows

Assitan, the breakfast specialist, made a real impression. She greeted everyone with a warm “good morning,” helped with the machines, and worked hard to keep everything spotless. Five stars to her, a sister from another mother ❤️ The hotel was clean, the rooms were lovely, and breakfast was excellent. Its location is ideal for exploring New York, with plenty of affordable places to eat nearby. I had a fantastic stay.

The view from our room was amazing, the staff were great, and there were plenty of nearby food options. It’s in a safe area, close to the airport, and bus routes are about a four-minute walk away. Service was good, though it could have been better. They don’t provide slippers, a toothbrush, or toothpaste. You have to request services a day ahead, and on my second-to-last day they didn’t clean as much as they should have. Breakfast was the same every day apart from a different sausage, so it needs more options. I was satisfied overall, but the service and breakfast could improve.

Trying to get a hotel bill was an awful waste of time. I was hung up on three times, put on hold for over ten minutes twice in a row, and then got the runaround from corporate. We found out the hotel had changed my email address without my knowledge. When I finally reached someone, they were rude, as if I’d interrupted their day. There are too many other options for me to consider staying here again. Save your money and go somewhere that understands hospitality.

The rooms and service were dependable, meeting what I’d expect from a three-star place, and the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The location was the standout, convenient enough to earn four stars. I had a positive experience at the Mayfair Inn and Suites.
