The building dates to 1986. There are doormen to open the regular door or help push the revolving one, which is a bit weird. Each room has separate air conditioning, but it's old and noisy, and the neighborhood is noisy too. The balcony view is nice, and the rooftop view is great. The rooftop closes at 9:30 pm and has no grill area. The gym and swimming pool cost extra. Each floor has a washer and dryer, two of each, and each wash and dry cycle costs around $4. Whole Foods is a 7-8 minute walk away, and there are lots of places to eat on 8th and 9th streets.
