It felt like a great deal for the price, especially considering how comfortable and clean the hotel was. The service was excellent too, with friendly staff who were easy to deal with. Coda Williamsburg is in a fantastic spot for exploring Williamsburg, with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and nice places to walk all close by. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Brooklyn.

The pool rules made this a frustrating stay. Hotel guests have to book either a morning or afternoon swim slot, and if those are full, you can’t swim. Kids apparently can’t swim after 11 a.m. either. Meanwhile, people who aren’t staying at the hotel can buy a resort pass and swim all day. I’ve never heard of a more ridiculous policy. The room was just okay, with bare necessities, two free bottles of water, but no mini fridge, snacks, or bathrobes, despite the $40-50 daily resort fee. There’s hardly space to hang out in the tiny lobby. Breakfast is only available in the basement if you want Asian food, and the upstairs bar is open for just a few hours after 5 p.m., only during the season. There must be better hotels in Brooklyn. I wouldn’t stay again.

Check-in and check-out both went smoothly, and everyone made me feel welcome. The staff were kind and helpful, and seemed to really care about guests. Coda Hotel feels cozy and modern, and it’s in a very convenient location. I had a really great stay and would come back.

Allison made a real difference during my stay in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. She was welcoming and attentive from the start, and made sure things went smoothly. She gave me helpful neighborhood suggestions and greeted me warmly and professionally each time. She was efficient but also made the help feel personal. I’d absolutely return, in large part because of her hospitality.

Kent at the front desk was so accommodating when I asked to move rooms because I’m afraid of staying right by an elevator. He understood and switched me over quickly. A lovely stay at Coda Williamsburg, and I’d come back!
