This place is my favorite when I stay in NYC. It’s on the same block as the subway, and the renovation still respects the brownstone’s history. I’ve stayed in every room so far and haven’t been disappointed. They’re all clean and comfortable, with a homey feel that’s nice when you’re away. Theresa, the host, is amazing. She’s helpful and knows the nightlife, restaurants, and best attractions. She really goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable. I’d recommend the place to friends and family, and can’t wait to come back.

We were lucky to choose this place for our two-week honeymoon. The host mother was very nice and kind, and our room was comfortable and clean. The free Wi-Fi was good, and the place was convenient, close to the subway and a supermarket. I’m a big MLB fan, so being within walking distance of Yankees stadium was great. I went there four times during our stay.

Lita's feels like home, with a friendly host, clean and beautiful rooms, and nice places to hang out in Harlem. It’s close to transit and restaurants, too. Wonderful experience. I’d highly recommend staying here while spending time in the city, and I hope to visit again soon.

A horrendously rude place. They kept repeating like a parrot that they couldn’t accept service animals, saying they had no accommodation for them. That goes against the spirit of the Americans with Disability Act, and I believe it’s a lie: they could accommodate them but chose to lie and discriminate instead. Avoid at all costs.

I’ll stay here every time I visit NYC. It’s the best place to stay, with a great neighborhood, lots of culture, and excellent food choices. The bed was even better than the one at home!
