Mayfair Inn and Suites

The staff were really nice, and getting around was easy with the train so close. My room was clean, the bed was cozy, and I didn't see any bugs or stains. Having a smart TV was a bonus; I watched YouTube and Netflix while I was in. There was no shower curtain, and the room only had shampoo and conditioner, so I had to bring my own towels. Still, for a last-minute trip, it had what I needed and I'd recommend it.

We arrived before check-in and left our bags, but nobody mentioned that the elevators weren't working. When we came back around 9 p.m., the front desk told us, then said we could cancel if we wanted. We also learned the elevators had reportedly been out for six months, and there was no one available to help with luggage. The manager seemed unwilling to help, and staff appeared to cover for management instead of fixing the problems. The microwaves, TV, and drinking water weren't working or available either. This was a terrible experience and felt like a scam. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Avoid booking here.

Clean room, hot shower, solid Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed, plus friendly staff and a quiet, safe-feeling neighborhood. For a budget stay in a residential suburb near transit, the value was great, and I'd gladly come back. The description makes clear that housekeeping is every three nights or available on request. This isn't a luxury Soho penthouse with daily towel art or lots of storage, so basic rooms and limited housekeeping shouldn't surprise anyone who booked the cheaper rate. It's a convenient, comfortable place for people whose expectations match the listing.

It's a clean, safe place to sleep near the city at a reasonable price, and I'll come back. The elevator was broken, but they could accommodate my request for a lower floor, so ask for one when booking. This isn't a luxury stay.
