I slept really well every night, and the room stayed spotless with fresh towels from daily housekeeping. The location made getting around simple, with the subway within walking distance. The staff made a real difference, especially Marissa, Omar, Zaida, and Maneal, whose service went above and beyond. There’s also a restaurant downstairs with good food and drinks, handy when you want to unwind after a long day. You’ll hear noise here, but that’s New York City. If you need silence, Manhattan probably isn’t for you. One of my best city hotel stays. I’d return without hesitation, 10/10.

The high-floor landmark view was epic, with sunrises and sunsets stretching from Brooklyn to Jersey and everything between. Since the building is so tall, the south-facing view felt completely unobstructed, probably one of the best views you can ask for in NYC. We picked a room on the 41st floor and found the layout efficient, with lots of storage despite the under 200sf floorplan. The decor and design made it feel more upscale than most "mico-room" properties. We’ve stayed at 3 other Motto properties, and this one felt elevated. We booked last minute in the app at 12:30pm on the day of our stay, checked in on mobile, and had our mobile key by 1:00pm. Going straight there from our previous hotel meant no time stuck in limbo. Staff were plentiful, and we felt safe, though nobody really welcomed or engaged with arriving guests. The elevators were okay during our stay, but 4 serving all 42 floors could mean delays when it’s busier. We used our credit at the bar area, where service was excellent and the drinks tasty. There’s a CVS around the corner and plenty of shops nearby. Pro Tip: walk through Madison square park for views of the Flatiron building. There’s also a dog park area if you’re traveling with pups.

The room was clean and really nice, and being on a low-traffic floor worked out well. Check-in was easy, and Jaime was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all my questions. He took time to suggest some good places nearby, which made a real difference to my visit. I had a great stay.

Their suggestions for places to visit and things to see were spot-on, and they made the stay feel personal and memorable. From start to finish, I felt looked after, and the service was wonderful. Everything was spotless and well maintained, so I felt comfortable and relaxed right away. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend.
