Nap York Central Park Sleep Station

For one night, this was exactly what I needed. The place had a fun atmosphere, comfy beds, and little amenities, and for the price it lived up to my expectations compared with other hostels. My wife called it a “boujee hostel” because every bunk had fans, lights, and plugs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen and fridge were clean, and the bathroom and roomy lockers were clean too. The room was warm, but the fan helped. Check-in was easy, the codes worked well, and the elevator worked. I’m not sure how I’d feel about a longer stay, but I’d come back, and it’d be really fun with three friends.

I had a great stay in one of Nap York’s hourly pods. It was clean and comfortable, just right for a quick rest, and the location was really convenient. The staff were great, especially Cy, who was fun to talk with at night. Definitely worth the price, and I’d stay here again.

The beds are comfy and the hostel is clean, and the reception guys were polite, sweet, and helpful. But management needs to change ASAP. I asked if I could extend checkout while I was in an empty room, and the manager, whoever was calling remotely, said the strict limit was 13:00. They wanted to charge me $50 extra, about $25 for each hour. I’d been at the hostel almost a week, and nobody was in the six-bed dorm, so I don’t understand why they couldn’t let me stay a little longer for a reasonable price.

The location was absolutely perfect for my first visit to New York, and the price was good. I booked a business pod at Nap York for two weeks as a solo female traveler, and I was a bit nervous since I’d never booked this kind of accommodation before. It’s a mixed pod, so I had several different 'buddies' during my stay. Some weren’t considerate about noise, though I suppose that comes with the territory. Staff and room amenities were great. The lockers were a good size, but bring a lock, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The room number and outer door number changed a few times, but it wasn’t really an issue.
