Pod Brooklyn

The rooms are extremely small, and the service was inconsistent. Check-in was great, but at checkout nobody asked how the stay was or even said thanks. I can't recommend this hotel. The facility fee feels deceptive and adds cost without value. I've seen the hotel's defense in other reviews, but there are enough complaints that the fee clearly isn't as obvious as they think. Nobody explained it when I checked in until I pushed and asked what it covered. The answer was Mumbai jumbo discounts at local restaurants.

The neighborhood is pleasant, with lots of shops and easy train access. There's free coffee in the morning and water available by the lobby all day. The rooms are on the small side, but Pod Brooklyn makes up for that with comfort and style. The staff were warm and welcoming too. We look forward to another stay someday.

The front desk staff provided excellent service, and the Williamsburg location puts you right in the middle of things. The pod plus room was extremely comfortable and a good value for what it is. A regular pod room is extremely small, with the shower over the toilet, so I'd say it's better for one person than a couple. We'll return to the pod hotel Brooklyn.

The room was the first one off the elevator, so I kept hearing the chime and people coming and going. My sheets had a hole, the window behind the bed let in a draft, and at 8:30 on Sunday the hot water was barely warm. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up either. Staff didn't seem to make much effort to welcome us. The location and cleanliness were very good, right among some of the best restaurants, entertainment, and bars, and about a 10 minute walk from Domino park.
