The beds were comfortable, and the clean sheets smelled fresh. The hotel had only opened the previous Wednesday, so nearly everything felt brand new, even the remote controls in some rooms were still wrapped in plastic. I only met two people at the front desk, and both were accommodating. The neighborhood is rough, but don’t let that scare you, lol. There are security cameras and locks on all the room doors. I enjoyed my stay at this affordable hotel and plan to return. I hope it stays in such good shape.

This place was a shelter for a while. Luckily ICE got rid of that, so maybe it’s a hotel now.

I booked this for October 15-16 on October 12, then arrived to find out the property was no longer a hotel and had become a men’s shelter. Nobody emailed me to cancel. I contacted Choice, where I’d booked the room, and was told to ask the hotel for a refund. That wasn’t possible since the hotel said it was no longer operating. Choice still refused to refund me, even though I couldn’t get in touch with the hotel. This hotel is a scam. DO NOT BOOK!

I only stayed briefly, and for what they offered, it felt a bit overpriced. Then again, this is NYC!
