They give you just one set of keys, charge to store your luggage, and even charge for Wi-Fi in the main hall. The room instructions make it sound like you're barely allowed to breathe. And you can't open the windows because they say the AC could fall and you'd have to pay for it. Seriously, come on.

The location is hard to beat, just one street from the Empire State Building, and the price is absolutely worth it. It's a cozy, nice place, though the bathroom felt a little improvised.

You're right in the heart of New York City, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom, though, was dirty and clearly hadn't been maintained well.

The apartment is comfortable and well placed for getting around, with a metro stop close by and several places within walking distance. The bathroom needed more cleaning, and the bed linens didn't look freshly washed. There was also a confusing charge, either $5 or $7 depending on the reception desk, but nobody explained the difference and we were simply told $7. Check-in was awkward because the staff didn't know we had a reservation. They didn't greet us when we arrived or left, which didn't match the reviews describing Rosanna as warm and welcoming.

Rossana was attentive and friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. The location is unbeatable, especially since accommodations are rarely cheap anywhere. We felt we got excellent value for the money. I'd happily recommend the place and stay again.
