The William Hotel Midtown, New York

Kiki at the front desk really helped make our mother-daughter NYC trip easy. Her tips for food, things to do, and getting around cut down on all the planning decisions. The hotel itself was quiet, with a clean room, comfy bed, and a really nice shower. It’s handy for Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, Times Square, and more. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The William made my 70th birthday feel unforgettable. It’s a smaller hotel, which added to its charm, and the whole experience exceeded what I expected. The staff were helpful whenever I needed something, or pointed me toward where I could find it. Housekeeping came every day, and everything from the room to the food and service was excellent.

Kiki deserves a special mention for fantastic customer service, a 10 out of 10. We were in town for my best friend’s birthday, and the William hotel was a great fit. The location was perfect, the room was impressively spacious, and the hotel was clean. We had a fabulous stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting New York city.

The room was roomy and comfortable, with two chairs, a table, and a shower with good pressure. My only gripe was the half glass panel, which left us having to watch for water splashing onto the floor. Housekeeping came each morning to tidy up, make the bed, and replace the towels, which I especially appreciated. We got into town around 12:30, hoping to check in early before our 3:30 tickets to a taping of Jimmy Fallon. The room wasn’t ready, but the front desk said they’d hold our bags and text us the entry code once it was ready, with our bags placed inside. They also held our luggage on the day we left, so we could explore before a late flight. The person working the desk on 3/31 was very kind. I wish I’d gotten the names of the people who checked us in and out, they were both so sweet. To the person who checked us in, hope we bump into you in Chicago for lollapalooza one day! This was my second trip to New York, and my boyfriend’s first. He was impressed by the hotel and its location. The William will see us again when we plan another trip.
