Towneplace Suites New York Times Square

I still remember waking up one night to a little gap in the curtains and seeing the city lights. The view from the window couch was stunning, and I didn’t want to move. The room itself was roomy and clean, and the bathroom was a highlight too, spacious and well designed, probably one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The area is busy, but my room on a high floor stayed peaceful. Times Square was within walking distance, and the subway was very close.

The pictures made the hotel look bigger than it feels in person, and the nighttime noise was my one real complaint. I knew the location would be hectic, though, since it’s right in the middle of the Times Square bustle. The room was clean, the service was amazing, and breakfast downstairs had lots of options. A good choice if you want to be in the center of everything.

The location in the heart of Midtown Manhattan made it easy to get around and close to everything we wanted. We had a great weekend at the InterContinental New York Times Square starting January 23rd. The staff were so welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a higher floor. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety, an easy 10/10. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the hotel. Guaranteed to impress!

When our room hadn’t been cleaned, Robyn B. didn’t stop at bringing towels. She took charge and arranged for a full same-day cleaning. She also helped with room service, suggesting sensible substitutions so I could eat comfortably with my sensitive stomach. Her warmth and positivity came through every time, even over the phone, and each interaction felt gracious and focused on us. We were in NYC for my birthday during the January ‘26 ‘snowpocalypse’. Flight delays and cancellations forced us to change our check-in and checkout dates several times. With all the travel hassles, the trip could easily have gone sour, but Robyn’s care made the Intercontinental feel like both home and a luxury escape. We were actually sad to leave. I travel nearly every week for work and personal trips, and have top-tier status with Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG. In more than a decade of that travel, and thousands of hotel nights across brands and countries, I haven’t experienced this kind of personal, proactive service. I’ve had great, upgraded, and by-the-book luxury service, but Robyn’s ownership and attention stand out. She made our New York stay spectacular, and she’s a major reason I’d choose to return to the InterContinental Times Square. This care is rare and deserves recognition.
