Home2 Suites by Hilton Newark Airport

The employees were all very nice and helped make this a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and handy, with appliances, and I liked seeing all the pups. The airport location is convenient, but parking is nearly impossible even after paying, though staff tried to help find a space. Getting on and off the highway is awkward too, like the hotel was squeezed in beside it.

My eldest daughter and I hadn't planned on spending two nights at Home2 Suites by Hilton at Newark Airport, but the February, 2026 blizzard left us there. The desk team stayed polite, friendly, and helpful through a stressful stretch, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. There were waffles, yogurt with different toppings, hot breakfast sandwiches (try the chicken), several cereals, bagels, toast, and plenty more. We didn't have workout clothes or bathing suits, so we watched a lot of Netflix in our PJs instead. It made a lovely end to the trip. Thanks to the staff for turning what could've been a rotten situation into a real pleasure.

We got snowed in during the blizzard and ended up staying three nights. Luckily, we found a room. The place was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and breakfast was pretty decent. Staff were friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance, so you'd need a car. With the roads snowed over, we ordered delivery and that worked out fine.

We'd lost our luggage at the airport and had spent the day dealing with rude customer service, so Phyllis's kindness really stood out. She was sweet, helpful, and polite, which was such a relief. The room was nice and clean, and the airport shuttle ran seamlessly both ways. As someone who used to work at a hotel front desk, I thought the service was incredible. A lovely way to head off on our honeymoon.
