SpringHill Suites Newark Downtown

We had what we needed for a productive team day in the meeting room: it was clean, nicely lit by daylight and electric lights, and equipped with a whiteboard, markers, and a way to connect a computer to the TV screen. The hotel was accommodating, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. I’d recommend it for team work. The HDMI cable setup between our computers and the screen was faulty, though. The hotel sent a technician and the crew were helpful and apologetic, but we had to find another way to work. They promised to fix it as soon as possible.

Burnell at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and I’m sitting here feeling grateful while I enjoy breakfast. It’s standard economy hotel fare, but the oatmeal toppings are fantastic: shredded coconut, nuts and seeds, cranraisens, banana chips, blueberry compote, and more. I’m not even an oatmeal girl, but I can’t resist. Pure yum! I woke up feeling refreshed and happy. The beds are amazing, especially the mattress and sheets. I want to take the whole set home.

We’d booked through another website/server and got some incorrect information. Once we arrived and figured that out, the front desk was willing to work with us and really understanding. After a long day driving and moving out of one place before moving into our new one the next day, my husband and I were impressed and grateful for the staff’s help. Great staff, good location in Newark, and wonderful amenities. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

I’ve only just checked in, but after staying at hotels across the country, I can already say this is one of my best experiences. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Newark Downtown stands out for its cleanliness, comfort, and the care I’ve received. The kindness feels real, not just like good service.
