Jerry made a great host. He suggested different places in the area and was fun to chat with when we felt like company, while still giving us privacy. The breakfast was delicious, and the sheets and towels were top quality. The place was decorated for the season, too. I'd highly recommend it.

The host and owner was incredible, and breakfast kept getting better each day. Apart from check-in, we mostly saw him at breakfast, but he made me feel as if I were visiting family who'd been looking forward to our arrival. We're hoping to come back for my 75th birthday, if not sooner. Our February visit brought rain, so we didn't get to use the outdoor seating area and fire pit. The room and bathroom were both spacious, with the biggest shower I've seen in a hotel, B&B, or timeshare. There was a fireplace on a timer, and the room's colors and textures felt masculine, though the decorative pillows were enough to please my wife. The inn is next to a vineyard, though some homes have been built since it opened. You can see the vineyard, with a few houses in the distance. If that bothers you, consider whether you'd rather take in what the region has to offer or sit on the balcony looking across the vineyard at those houses.

Jerry is quite the chef, and breakfast each day was such a treat. He and Matt made our stay extra special. My suite was immaculately clean and felt as if I were the first person ever to stay in it. It's conveniently located near wineries and great restaurants, and the seasonal decorations are spectacular. We hope to return for the Christmas decor. If you want a private home away from home, this is the place.

Jerry and Matt gave us helpful suggestions for getting around town and places to visit. From the moment we got out of the car, Jerry warmly welcomed my husband and me, helped with our luggage, and made us feel like family. Everything in the bedroom felt carefully thought out, from the fireplace and bathroom to the comfortable bed. It was simply exquisite. For a relaxing countryside sanctuary where you can slow down and enjoy the moment, I'd highly recommend this place.

Jerry made us feel like friends by the time we left, and I'm already planning another stay at VVI. It's hands down the best B&B stay I've had. The breakfast was incredible, and the rooms were comfortable and immaculately clean, with decor like a professional display. The location is wonderful for getting to the wineries. The view is lovely, with a vineyard nearby and an old cherry orchard on the property.
