Our room had new flooring and a very nice new shower with a great rain shower head. It was very clean, and the furniture was comfortable. Even though the property is near the highway, our room was quiet, and the other guests were polite and quiet too. The new owners are trying to renovate some rooms. The outdoor pool and cute gazebo still need updating, and the lobby has shortcomings, but there’s a lot of potential. I expect they’ll keep making improvements, and I’d stay again.

About a month after I booked, I got an email saying my reservation had been canceled at my request. Newberg inn said Hotels.com had done it; Hotels.com told me they hadn’t canceled anything. Their customer service agent tried to call the hotel, but the hotel hung up on her. The management seems shady, blaming me for requesting a cancellation. It looks like they overbooked and kept taking reservations, then started canceling them a week before check-in. Stay away. Now they’ll get banned from the platform.

They’re renovating, and the owners are doing their best to keep the hotel comfortable and clean. It’s in a convenient spot among restaurants, stores, and gas stations. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had what we needed when we needed it. Don’t pass this place up!

Good location and updated rooms, but the place was full of cockroaches. That was the only damn problem.

The hotel is low cost and convenient for several restaurants, and they’re updating the rooms. When I checked in around 5pm, our booked room wasn’t ready. The lady was nice and put me in an updated room instead. It was okay, but the bathroom had a shower and toilet with no hooks for our towels. The sink was outside the bathroom.
