The security and conditions here were awful. Entrance B’s key card door was broken, so anyone could get in. Several people who looked homeless were hanging around that entrance when we arrived, then through the night and into morning. We felt very unsafe. The lot had no lights, and I worried we’d be jumped or my truck broken into. The back door was unsecured too. The hotel says it’s smoke free, but the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarettes. Inside, the wallpaper was badly damaged, and room numbers were written on blue painter’s tape stuck to the doors. Our ceiling had old water damage and a poor patch job. There was thick dust on the lamps and armoire. The microwave was dirty and smelled bad. The mattress had stains, as did some bedding, and there were no bed bug covers. We went to the local Walmart for our own sheets. The room phone had no line to the wall, so I couldn’t call the desk to ask why the advertised internet wasn’t working. I walked there instead. They said someone upstairs had “cut the line” to the internet. I asked twice why there was no phone line and the clerk didn’t answer. The anti slip material in the tub was peeling. This place is a complete dump. Don’t stay here!

We used to stay here all the time without problems, but this visit was terrible. There were no locks on the outside doors, and sketchy looking people were waiting at the back door. Room numbers were on blue masking tape instead of proper signs, and the hotel smelled of weed. Our room itself smelled clean, and I didn’t see signs of bed bugs or roaches, but the sheets were filthy with a brown spot, and the mattress had wine spots. We bought our own sheets at Walmart. The phone was there for show, with no hookup, and there was no WiFi. The clerk said someone had cut the wire. The bathroom was filthy, so we had to disinfect everything. Wallpaper was peeling, there looked to be water damage, and the lamps were incredibly dusty. There was a microwave and coffee machine, at least. The clerk didn’t even ask how our stay was. Just awful.

The only bright spots were a friendly, accommodating front desk employee, a room door that locked and could be chained from inside, and that my family got out safely. The rest of this stay was a nightmare. We had to arrive by 4pm or pay an extra $25. The website photos looked nothing like the rooms. The lot was empty and rundown, and nobody was at the front desk, which was closed behind bulletproof glass. Room numbers were written in Sharpie on blue painter’s tape. The place reeked of cigarette smoke, weed, and a musty smell. Stairwells were littered with trash and food, and several homeless people were sitting, smoking, and getting high there. We had to climb 3 flights to reach our vehicle, squeezing through their gathering. We made a dozen or so trips to the vehicle with our suitcases because there was no rack in the room and I wouldn’t leave them on the floor. The back door was open and couldn’t be secured. Employees walked past without asking people to leave. There were no lights in the lot, and I feared we’d be hurt or that my truck would be broken into. Our two keys only worked sometimes, and when they did, we had to open the door fast before it locked again. There were no elevators or ice machines. The wallpaper peeled, there were stains on the ceilings, walls, carpet, and bed, and the blinds were broken. The AC and heat either cooked or froze us. The mattresses had springs poking through, and each bed had only two flimsy half size pillows that offered no support. The coffee maker had no coffee or filters, there were no large bathroom towels, no room phones, and the tiny TV didn’t work. I couldn’t connect the PlayStation because the WiFi was out. I found a brown spot and a pubic hair beside it on the sheet and removed it, since I couldn’t call the desk and couldn’t find its number on the website. I made at least 4 trips to the front desk through the maze of stairs and halls. I couldn’t find an elevator either, so how is this handicap accessible? We froze under one sheet and two thin blankets that didn’t cover the whole bed. There was no room service or vending machine, and the “continental breakfast” didn’t exist. If it did, there would’ve been an additional fee of $30pp. The next morning, banging on a nearby door woke us up. As we checked out, panicked people were running around, pounding on doors, and yelling incoherently. There were 4 cop cars and 3 ambulances at the main entrance.

There was just basic cable, and we couldn’t sign in to any TV apps. The sheets were itchy and stained, and there were stains on the walls and ceiling too. The room was dark, with two mismatched lamps, chipped paint, and sloppy patches over holes. We also heard what was definitely mice or something in the walls. The entrance was dark and dank, with bulletproof glass around reception. The property hadn’t been vacuumed, and our room looked nothing like the website pictures. Next door guests were very loud, and the police were contacted. People were sleeping in the hallways, the place smelled of pot and other substances, and room numbers were written in Sharpie on blue painter’s tape stuck to the doors.

Please avoid this place. The rooms are dirty and smell bad, and there are insects inside. One friend was bitten on the eye and several other parts of his body. His eye swelled up completely.
