We wanted a couple of quiet nights away from the kids during our family vacation, so they stayed with my Mom while we celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary early. I grew up spending summers and school breaks at our family vacation home in Glen Eden, but didn’t know the Newport Belle existed until I researched places for a getaway. It was such a relaxing chance to spend time together, and we wished we could stay permanently. Brandon, Ibin, and Lyda were so warm and attentive. They welcomed us with happy hour, and Ibin’s breakfast was seriously to die for. We stayed two nights in a row in room 4. It was quiet, we didn’t hear other guests or the fisherman right outside, and the view was beautiful. The bed and bedding were so comfortable, the towels were awesome, and you can buy them on site. I also bought a t-shirt, a hoodie, and a beanie to wear at home in IdaHOME and tell people about the place. Thanks, Brandon, Ibin, and Lyda. We’ll be back!

Brandon took such good care of us, from getting us parked in the right spot and aboard to making sure we had what we needed all the way through. He brought out a welcome charcuterie plate and drinks, suggested dinner options, and offered several breakfast choices. Since we were the only guests on the boat, he also showed us all the rooms. The Belle is amazing, and the view from room 4 and the sunroom is gorgeous. Every detail felt considered, from the bed, pillows, linens, and cushy toilet paper to the Keurig already filled with water. Brandon worked his tail off and earns the five stars. This will be a yearly tradition for us.

The enclosed rear sundeck was a lovely spot for breakfast, with a peaceful view and atmosphere, and the food each morning was delicious. Brandon was a fantastic host and a great breakfast chef; meeting the owner while he poured our coffee added a personal touch too. We spent two nights aboard the Newport Belle during a road trip, and the stay made Newport memorable in a way a regular hotel probably wouldn’t have. The boat is beautiful and full of charm, and our stateroom was cozy, well furnished, and comfortable after a long day traveling. It was a wonderful, one of a kind experience. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay!

Happy hour and the home cooked breakfast were the best parts of our stay, and the common area has a really nice vibe. The yacht-rock music playing throughout was a great touch. Brandon treated us so well and was an excellent host. Our charming room was decorated so cute, with stellar harbor and bridge views. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great. We can’t wait to come back.

Room 5 was cute and cozy, with great views upstairs and a little balcony that felt like it was just for us. We got there in time for happy hour, and Brandon was an amazing host who answered all our questions and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was great, especially the omelettes he cooked, and the little bar had good treats to pick up. Checkout was easy. I’d love to visit again.
