Parking was a real plus, especially since Newport quickly proved short on parking options. The inn is conveniently placed for walking around town, and the Cliff Walk is right down the street. It was charming and tastefully decorated, with everything clean and organized. We stayed three nights in December and had a lovely time with Tonie and Cindy, who were funny, entertaining, and clearly worked well together. When we told Tonie on arrival day that we’d be early, she kindly got us into our room ahead of check-in. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and Cindy gave us helpful dinner suggestions for our last night. We can’t wait to come back and are already planning another visit.

Cindy made us feel very welcome, and our clean, cozy room exceeded expectations. We were told to try Room 10, and it lived up to the praise. The property is immaculately maintained, with a great location for a short walk to the beach or downtown. Since parking is a big problem for tourists here, having it is a real advantage. I’ve lived in Newport all my life, and this hidden gem is ideal for repeat stays. We’ve already booked again.

I hadn’t realized I’d booked a bed and breakfast, but I’m glad I did. This little gem is adorable and very well kept, with a room that was nice and smelled clean as soon as we walked in. The shed stocked with coffee and hot chocolate was a hit with our group, and it’s wonderfully close to both town and the beach. Breakfast was preset but delicious. The only small suggestion I have is giving the pullout bed a little more support. Even so, we had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was amazing, and we’d definitely stay again. Check-in was easy, and our room was clean and comfortable with all the essential toiletries. There’s no elevator, but the location makes up for it: downtown, the famous Cliff Walk, and the Newport Mansions are all a short walk away.

Cindy went out of her way to mail a gift I’d accidentally left in the room for my girlfriend. That was so kind of her. We had an amazing stay at Town and Tide Inn, with clean, organized rooms, a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast. Thanks for making it such a great visit!
