It looks pretty run-down and even scary at first, with plenty of work still needed around the place as the swimming pool is being replaced as the Courtyard. Still, the customer service was pleasant and great, and the room's AC worked well. There were outlets by the bed and desk, and the shower was okay. The beds are getting to where they should be replaced. Compared with other nearby places charging $100+ a night, this is a cost-effective choice for a quick night.

We were nervous about booking America's Best Value Inn for an overnight stop on our way through Iowa because of its reviews, but the room quality pleasantly surprised me. The new owners have changed the atmosphere. Everything was very clean, the staff were great, and the location and price were good. I asked about an AAA rate and was glad to get a discount. I'll stay again when I'm in the area, tell people about it, and hope it's just as nice next time.

The front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming, and the beds were clean. The rooms are dated, so don't expect an updated place, but for the price it's good value. Dogs are allowed for a $20 fee. It's not a Hilton, but it's not the Bates motel either. A decent spot to spend the night while driving through Iowa.

I've stayed here many times and the service has always been very good. It's an odd but intriguing place with very reasonable prices. No swimming pool was available, but I enjoyed the pool table and a couple of arcade games. Breakfast is simple, and I noticed waffles. It's a low-income place, but worth it.

We got there around 1 a.m. and were welcomed as warmly as if it were the middle of the day. They were very accommodating. The older motel seems to be getting renovated into a hotel. Breakfast only had two choices, waffles or Fruit Loops, but for the price it was a good place to rest before getting back on the road.
