Caravan Motel

We first came here 20 years ago to see Niagara Falls, and now we’ve returned. Paying $70 a night for two people this close to the Falls is a good deal. The young man at the counter was polite and easy to deal with, and he got us checked in quickly without much hassle. That made my day even better. Thank you!

Dion at the desk was friendly and gave us helpful information. We love this motel. The room was very clean and great, and all the usual amenities were available. It’s close to the Falls too. We’ll definitely stay here again, and I recommend it 100%.

The room had bugs, dents and holes in the floor and walls, cracks in the walls, and mold in the AC. The AC wasn’t working, the fridge was broken, and the pool never opened. The key card stopped working, the lock was broken, and the bathroom door was broken too. The mirror was broken, the drawers wouldn’t open, and there were barely any rags or towels. There wasn’t enough toilet paper or soap, no trash bags, and no drinks in the fridge. We had to wait a long time at the office. The walls were dirty, and it felt unsafe in here.

For a night or two on a tight budget, this motel is reasonable as long as you treat it as a place to sleep between days out. It was the cheapest option around, which worked well for our eclipse visit. Our room was clean and the staff were nice enough, though there was minor water damage around the bathroom outlets, apparently from poor ventilation. It’s near a shopping area and within 15 minutes of attractions around the Falls and the Rainbow Bridge crossing into Canada. This is a one-star level motel, but for that, it’s pretty reasonable.
