Red Carpet Inn Niagara Falls

When I arrived for my reservation at the Red Carpet Inn, I found a property that had been closed for more than a year. It was abandoned, with no staff there and no sign it was operating. Yet the listing was still accepting bookings, which makes this look like a scam. Please help process a full refund right away, and investigate and remove the listing so other travelers don't run into the same problem.

The staff and management were friendly and quick to get me what I needed, and I'd happily stay here again. The place had been closed for a long time, but new management has reopened it and it's functioning now. They still have some repairs and renovations to finish, but you can tell they're putting in the effort and it's already much better than it used to be. I'd recommend staying here.

The room smelled awful, and there was even a spider web inside. We couldn't close the bathroom door, either. The bedding was disgusting, with blood on the sheet and pillow and bugs all over the blanket. There were flies in the bathroom too. We told the front desk, but they said they couldn't do anything. After we asked for a fresh sheet, it took forever to arrive, and the replacement was dirty and smelled of perfume.

They took $200 from my credit card as soon as they accepted my reservation, even though they knew the property was permanently closed. I contacted Booking.com, but my money still hasn't been refunded. This is fraud. Don't book here.
