The lounge was great, and the freshly renovated room was a sweet upgrade while remodeling is underway. I do hope they improve the parking areas. My novia called it her second-best romantic date. Sonoita is still number one for us.
Our room was okay, but it didn’t feel clean. In front of guests, the housekeeping staff were yelling at each other, and it seemed heated. Nobody stepped in.
It was otherwise a decent budget stay, and the front desk dealt with the scorpion in our bathtub quickly. Still, finding it there really shook my sense of safety and made it hard to relax. There was construction going on, and it seemed like a very rare incident.
Fair price, clean room, pet friendly, and space to park a semi truck.
The smoke detector was disconnected, and they wouldn’t move me to another room. They also charged me for a night I hadn’t stayed, even after telling me to call Expedia. I guess that’s why they said they’d email the receipt instead of giving it to me at checkout. It’s an old but quiet hotel, and there are no smart TVs. I stayed here three years ago, and the staff were much better then. They may not care, but they’ve lost a customer.
