Travelodge Inn & Suites By Wyndham Norman

It's a nice hotel inside, and the rooms have been cleaned up well. No bugs, which is a relief. The group of gentlemen are good too. It's not the Taj Mahal, but it's really nice.

The location is good, and the two women who checked us in were friendly. Most of the owners or managers I saw, though, weren't very nice. I came with family for my daughter's master's graduation from University of Oklahoma and booked two rooms. Her room and her friends' room had a heater that barely worked, and although there was a bathtub, only the shower worked. My room's door wouldn't work properly, so they moved me to a handicapped room instead of the suite with a whirlpool I'd paid for. The next day I was switched again, but still didn't get what I'd booked. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, the rooms were dirty, and the place needs updating even though it's old. I had to fiddle with the heater to keep it running. It's pet friendly, but there were also little extra fees I didn't like on top of the deposit. I felt it cost far too much for what we got. The pictures make it look nicer than it is. This was one of my worst hotel experiences, and it's the main reason I won't stay at Travelodge again. I'd tell people to save their money and go elsewhere.

The front desk gentleman took care of everything we needed. He was great.

This is my go-to place to stay in Norman. The location is convenient, and both the staff and service are great.
