Blue Vista Motor Lodge

That mountain view was the first thing we noticed, and it made us happy to be there. We’re from Long Island, New York, and came to snowboard at Berkshire East Mountain on February 4-5. Our room was on the first level, which made getting in and out easy, and it was spotless. After a long day on the slopes, the bed was perfect for unwinding. It was a quiet weekend, just what we needed, though I wish we’d had more time at Blue Vista Motor Lodge. Thanks so much to Stella and the BVML Staff. We’re already looking forward to coming back and enjoying more of the amenities.

The Canteen provisions were topnotch, and we loved the s’mores by the fire pit, sledding down the hill, and the sauna and hot tub together. The rooms were comfy too. This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it enough to add an extra night to the long weekend. We’re making this an annual tradition. Thanks, Blue Vista. See you soon! The staff were especially kind when we called about a small sentimental item we’d left behind. They found it and offered to send it right away. That warmth matched the rest of our stay, and we had a wonderful time. Our room had plenty of space, big comfortable beds, and wide windows over the wooded mountain views from high on Mt Whitcomb. We also loved starting the morning in the outdoor hot tub and sauna, looking out at the same scenery. There were plenty of snacks for evening and morning, including s’mores supplies for the fire pit, crackers and spreads, ramen, Mac and cheese, oatmeal, and milk. Many of the items were locally produced. The staff were welcoming and friendly, too. We’re already figuring out a return visit. If you’re in North Adam or visiting Mass MOCA, this place is a real gem.

We found the location ideal, about 17 minutes from berkshire east mtn and close to North Adams restaurants. The front desk person was a big help since we weren’t from the area. The hotel was in great condition, and both our room and bathroom were clean. The hot tub and sauna were clean and great as well. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you. Maria S
