Super 8 By Wyndham Auburn

I booked two nights and left after just one. My son has asthma and coughed the whole time, and I didn't want them touching anything because it was so filthy. When I checked out, I asked for the second night refunded and was told to contact Expedia, the third party I booked through. The number on my confirmation went straight to the front desk. Once the person there realized that, he said he'd refund the second night, but I still haven't received it. At $166 a night, this is outrageous. Management needs to show some integrity and actually clean the rooms. This hotel shouldn't pass inspection. DO NOT STAY HERE. The room had hair in the bed, a moldy shower that wouldn't drain, floors caked in dirt and hair, filthy floorboards, dust and dirt coating everything, peeling paint, a cracked window, gunk on the walls, and mold on the shower curtain. The "breakfast" was half-frozen milk cartons that tasted awful, Sunny D, and a couple of granola bars. I asked the office to send housekeeping with clean sheets, but they said there was no housekeeping. They offered another room, but it was just as nasty.

The place was dirty and dank, and even basics like toilet paper were missing. There was flooding too. The owners seem to have given up on taking pride in the property.

The staff at the front desk and around the hotel were kind and attentive. They made me feel looked after and seemed to care about my time and well-being. It was a peaceful, stress-free place to rest and recharge after traveling to or from Reno. Highly recommend it.

The room was spotless and comfortable, a nice place to unwind. The receptionist was really friendly and checked me in quickly, so it was an easy process. I had a great stay and would recommend this motel for a convenient, pleasant visit.
