I was here for almost two weeks on a business trip. It’s a nice little hotel, and they were fixing up rooms during my stay, though the place could use some upkeep. The ice machines on a few floors weren’t working, and the back area needs attention to the trash and could be made more welcoming. The elevator also started having problems during the last few days I was there.
4/10
We chose this place for the pool, only to learn at check-in that it no longer exists. The location was good and the staff were polite, and the room was okay, but the window was dirty and its seat cushion was stained. We left a day early after a rough night because noise from other units came right through. The rooms aren’t soundproof.
10/10
The breakfast bar was clean, the staff were pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed three nights and everything else was perfect. Just avoid a room on the highway side, since the traffic gets loud. Thanks again, Microtel Inn, for another great stay. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
4/10
It was handy being so close to the event we came for, and the place was very clean. The interior could use some updating, and the free breakfast had very few options. A waffle was the only hot item, so we decided to pay for breakfast somewhere else.
4/10
Customer service was excellent, but the breakfast could’ve been better. The hotel is being renovated, and I could smell paint from my room as well as in the lobby.
