Foxfield Inn

Breakfast at Foxfield Inn is no joke, delicious, creative and filling, and Brigette is a great cook. We also loved the cookies she leaves out for guests every day. My husband would go back just for those, and we’ll return next time we’re in Charlottesville. Brigette made us feel welcome right away. Our suite was bright, clean and well furnished, with everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and we liked the fireplace and cozy furniture. The inn is in a lovely part of the Charlottesville area, near Foxfield and a short drive west of Barracks Road Shopping Centers and UVA. There are plenty of pleasant spots on the grounds to sit and watch birds and woodland creatures. We didn’t use the hot tub this time, but it’s there, along with a deep, luxurious Jacuzzi tub in our suite. We had a wonderful three-day stay. A five-star experience.

We watched the busy birds outside our breakfast window each morning, and the food was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The host, Brigitte, was so welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. This charming bed and breakfast gave us an unforgettable mother-daughter stay, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone. How many foxes will you spot during your stay at The Foxfield Inn?

My husband and I hope to come back to Charlottesville and stay here again. Brigitte was a wonderful host, and those breakfasts were amazing. I’d highly recommend Foxfield Inn if you’re considering a BnB in the area.

The soaking tub was a real highlight after a long day, and our room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, upscale and unusual, with a lot of care behind the details. The owner was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at home right away. We had a wonderful stay at Foxfield Inn Bed & Breakfast and would happily return. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting the area.
