Econo Lodge Hornell

There’s no need for fancy upgrades. This is already a useful, affordable option in Hornell, and the prices are the lowest in town. Other hotels are overpriced, and right now this place has the market to itself. Please let the employees care for the sweet stray cats indoors, where they belong. The owner should invest in a few practical fixes. Toilet lines keep clogging and overflowing, and the hot water keeps going out. Guests need reliable hot water and shouldn’t have to move rooms whenever a toilet overflows, especially when another room might not even be available. Maintenance should be available on weekends, and the front desk needs more coverage. The employees are overworked. Some who live on-site also have to pay rent, and everyone could probably use a raise. These few changes would help keep the hotel full year-round. Thanks for keeping it affordable.

My partner Graham and I have been at the Econo Lodge for quite a while, and it’s been a nice stay. Everything was clean, working, and fairly well maintained. The staff are wonderful, down-to-earth people. They greet you when you pass and check that you’re enjoying your stay. I’d definitely choose the Econo Lodge again. Thanks for making our time here a good one! :)

I appreciate that they don’t lock down the TVs for no reason. Hooking up a console or something takes about five seconds. Thanks.

You don’t find staff this friendly and down to earth every day. They’re more than accommodating. 10/10. If you need somewhere for the night, I’d recommend this place. Every once in a blue moon you come across a hidden gem like this.
