The forest scenery is amazing, though some rooms are outdated and amenities are lacking. We came in late April, before tourist season, so lots of businesses weren’t open yet. Even with fewer people around, we couldn’t find dinner parking anywhere. Bring change for the laundry: local businesses wouldn’t make change, and all the change machines were broken, even at the laundromat. We stayed six days, and the fitness center was closed for three of them. :(

We spent 10 days in the tower, and it was an okay stay overall. The website makes the rooms sound a bit nicer than they are. Ours was dated and had mirrors everywhere, and the beds were very uncomfortable for all of us. The best part was the view from the back deck. I’m not sure I’d return unless I got a lakeview room. The pool was great, though the pictures make it look like an infinity pool and it isn’t. The sauna was good once it finally heated up. Bring quarters for laundry, and be aware that parking can be rough sometimes.

These are condos to rent, and I assume some are for sale too. They sit right on Lake Tahoe’s west-facing beach. Just before hibernation, a mother bear and her cub had been through the area. We watched a Lake Tahoe sunset from our front window.

The location is amazing and the apartment was good, but the amenities were nonexistent and there was barely any onsite service or staff. I’d recommend booking an Airbnb.

A stylish steakhouse in the heart of the city, and easy to get to. The steaks are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. No need to say more about the steak, just take a look and enjoy.
