TownePlace Suites by Marriott Las Vegas North I-15

I stayed two nights in November and another two in December. Both times, the service was excellent. When we got married in Vegas in November, they upgraded our room and brought us flowers. Our next stay was amazing too. The property is nice and well-kept, the lobby is inviting, and it's not too far from things. Cece and Leta (lita) at the front desk helped me both times and their customer service was over the top. The older black gentleman in housekeeping was extremely pleasant, as was the assistant general manager, a very welcoming man with a great smile. I apologize for forgetting his name. The one thing I wanted to mention, though it doesn't take away from anything else, is that the overnight gentleman wasn't as friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay each time I visit Vegas!

The biggest drawback is the location. There are no restaurants within walking distance, so it's odd that there's no restaurant or bar onsite. With nothing nearby to walk to, that's a missed opportunity. The rooms were a good standard, and the blackout curtains were a welcome bonus, since Marriott rooms often lack them. Soundproofing could be better: on the first night I heard a young child crying in the next room. Breakfast is included, but only OK.

The room was dirty, and the pet fee was charged to my work credit card, which will be fun to sort out. I travel for work and often debate whether to build status with a hotel chain. I pick chains that allow dogs so I can use points on personal trips. This is the only Marriott I've stayed at in three years that doesn't even offer free lobby coffee. At least the fridges aren't those awful push-button ones. Pet fee: $75 👎🏼. No coffee or breakfast before I have to be at work 👎🏼. Dirty room 👎🏼. Good luck.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and my room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet. There was plenty to choose from at the breakfast buffet. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.
