The screened porch and location were nice, and the property was quiet and not overcrowded, aside from the construction. But we stayed in unit 205 and weren’t told when booking through VRBO that construction was going on and the pool was closed. The unit smelled musty, the master bathroom smelled like sewage, and there were water spots on the master bedroom ceiling. It badly needs updating. The little porch off the master bedroom is so small you can barely step onto it. I’ve stayed in worse, but definitely in better places, especially for the price. If you want a great location and an okayish unit that’s a little overpriced, this may be for you.

Myrtle Beach is right outside, with almost no walking distance, and there’s a pool too. It’s nicely decorated, near lots of businesses, and I’d stay again. The ground kind of shakes when you walk, and some of the furniture is a little dirty.

The unit smelled of mold and mildew, and the furnishings were dirty. The entry and patio/balcony were unkempt. This building at 1711 South Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC is really dilapidated. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt instead of renovated. I DO NOT recommend it to anyone!!!

The pool was nice, and the beach is very close. We stayed in the updated condo, unit 307, but the washer smelled and had residue in it. Maintenance said it wasn’t mold. I’m giving it four stars because we saw three roaches inside, and more on the steps and in the hallways at night. Maybe that’s normal in South Carolina, but if roaches bother you, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location was great, and we were glad the pool was open for us to use during COVID-19. The air conditioning, though, was out for almost two days. We called and were told someone would come check it, but nobody arrived until we called again around noon the next day. The kids were so hot they slept on top of the covers, and it was cooler outdoors than inside. My husband had to wait in the condo for maintenance, which cost him some beach time. I was upset that nobody showed much compassion after we’d waited so long and been so uncomfortable.
