Our family enjoyed the week at H2, especially being so close to the shore and swimming pool. The office staff were nice and accommodating, but getting into the room was a frustrating start. When we arrived, we were told it would be ready sometime between 3 and 5, which we understood was the check-in window. We waited at the office almost two hours. Other people got checked in quickly, while we were told our room was still being inspected. Eventually we got the keys and parking passes. Since it was almost dinner time, we cooked. When I opened the dishwasher, it still had dirty dishes inside. The woman at the Seaside Vacation office had said the room was being inspected, so I wondered how that was missed. We had no choice but to run the dishwasher ourselves. The master bedroom shower head also looked nasty and needed cleaning. So if you’re booking with Seaside Vacation, expect the room might not be clean right at 3, it could be anytime between 3 and 5.

The beach right out front was beautiful, and it seemed less crowded by the low rise buildings than in front of the taller beachfront complexes. The building is low rise, with rentals and residents sharing the grounds, and it was clean and well kept. Parking is partly outside by South Ocean Blvd and partly covered under the building. Our medium sized pool was clean. We rented two good quality lounge chairs and an umbrella from the vendor, who set them up and maintained them. It cost us $195 with tip. We had a three bedroom unit that was mostly clean, though not spotless. The air conditioning worked well and was necessary.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVED this place! We had so much FUN during our week. It was beautiful, clean, really accommodating, and so thoughtful. Washer and dryer included. Just lovely. 💖

The beach is right outside, and the parking lot under the building is close by, so carrying everything down is convenient. The pool is nice, has lots of seating, and is always clean. We’ve stayed here for five years and expect to keep coming back. Each unit has a similar layout, but the details vary. We always book three bedrooms and three baths, and they’ve all had a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Some were poorly equipped with dishes and such, while others were well stocked. Linens are included in some units and not others; some have cable in every room, while others lack TVs in every bedroom. Check the online photos carefully before booking. In 2018 we stayed in B3, a two bedroom, two bath unit, booked through VRBO. It was one of the nicest rooms we’ve had, with updated decor, new TVs in every room, plenty of dishes, and great cookware. Linens were available for a fee, which we liked. The unit also gave us access to a storage room with beach chairs. We bring our own, but that would be handy if we didn’t. The second bedroom mattresses were terrible. I can’t comment on the large bed, but the twin beds kept my wife and me from sleeping well every night.

We stayed in unit 5E, and the large balconies were lovely for taking in the views. The unit was cozy, though the mattresses and pillows left a lot to be desired. You’ll need a key for the building and another for the unit. I liked the extra security, but it takes planning if part of your group is out. I’d stay here again.
