Oasis Hotel

I never got to use the two nights I booked. Something came up, and I tried to tell the property, but there was no call back, just a website message saying they wouldn't refund me because it was short notice. I'm a single mother, and I can't afford to throw money away, especially right now. You can't reach a live person, so be prepared to communicate only through their site. The customer service and policies were deplorable. I'm extremely disappointed and hurt, and I would never recommend this place. I'll tell people at work to avoid it. Appalled and disgusted.

We ended up sleeping in the car and leaving the next day. It was spring break, so we couldn't find anywhere else for that night, and the front desk was empty whenever we went back to ask for help. We'd reported the room and were told they'd look into it, but by 9 p.m. no one had followed up. Then a strange man walked right into the room because the doors wouldn't lock. That was the last straw. We'd paid in full for April 10-12. The website photos were completely misleading, and the hotel looked suspicious when we arrived. Inside, the room was filthy: live roaches on the walls and furniture, dirty bedding that looked as though someone had just been lying in it, and grime on the walls and doors. Even the balcony was a no. There was also a strange smell of weed and mold. We took pictures. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We checked out just ten minutes after checking in and wouldn't let our kids touch anything. There was no TV or fridge, and the dresser had no drawers. The beds had mold, the floors and chairs were badly stained, and there was mold on the ceiling. The doors didn't lock, either. Drunk people were wandering around the hotel and people who looked cracked out were in the hallways. The place was the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. Don't book it. The pictures are misleading, and I don't believe the reviews above one star. Condemn this building.

The ocean view was the only decent part. The room was ugly and badly outdated, and after one night I decided not to stay for the three nights I'd planned. When I went to check out around 4:30, the front desk doors were locked, of course. Please don't waste your money here. Worst hotel I've ever been in.
