Ocean Edge Motel

The staff were sweet, friendly, and helpful, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beachfront view was beautiful, and it’s only a short walk to the beach. My room had a bad odor when I arrived, though, and I saw bugs. The dishes hadn’t been fully cleaned by the previous guests. The beds were comfortable, but seeing the bugs made me uneasy. I’d recommend the view, and I think spraying the building monthly wouldn’t hurt.

We liked it enough to stay an extra night and book another visit for June. The oceanfront balconies have a wonderful sunrise view, and the pool was relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a well-stocked kitchen, so we were comfortable living there for our vacation week. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Sitting on the balcony at night and listening to the ocean was just what I needed. The view is amazing, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s an older hotel, nothing fancy, but it serves its purpose and is very clean and well kept. The parking lot gets a little tight when the place is full, especially if you’re driving a big SUV, but it wasn’t too difficult.

We were moved to a room with a kitchen when our assigned room wasn’t ready, which was much better than waiting. The woman I spoke to by phone when booking was kind and really helpful. It’s a small hotel, and the pool area stayed uncrowded. The water temperature was just right, and everything looked clean. Our room was very clean too, with no unpleasant smells. The beach view is beautiful, and the photos were pretty accurate. Great stay, we’ll come back.
