Ocean Garden Villas L2 2 Bedroom Condo by RedAwning, North Myrtle Beach

It was a quiet, relaxing place right on the beach, and all in all we had a good stay. It’s an older place, so it had its quirks.

These family-friendly condos are oceanfront, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a swimming pool. Some units have a washer and dryer; if yours doesn’t, there’s a coin-operated laundry on the property. Parking is off street.

We always come here every summer because it’s what we need. It’s a great place for families, away from all the hustle and bustle.

The bathrooms had crap on the seats, and the cleaning lady kept apologizing. There was hair all over both bathrooms, and the sink was backed up with drain water. Construction workers were working from 9am to 4pm with no consideration for guests. When I called, management was no help. They refused to give us another condo and said we might have to wait until later that night or possibly early the next day for the room to be cleaned, even though they’d told us at check-in that it was ready. They didn’t offer to reimburse the cleaning fee or comp any of the room. This was the worst experience my family and I have ever had.
