The beach was easy to reach and pleasantly uncrowded. Our 10th-floor condo was clean, spacious, had plenty of amenities, and offered the best views. We rented through Vascas Rentals, which sent all the instructions. There's no front desk, so you do need to know the check-in process, but getting inside was easy enough. Thanks for a great stay in North Myrtle Beach!
The view from unit 402 was great, but the place needs proper upgrades. The bathroom vanity top moved, the toilet seats were too loose to sit on, a balcony screen was on the ground, and an under-cabinet light had fallen down. The kitchen sink only had a trickle of cold water, though the hot water was fine, and the wall TV was crooked. There was also a little mold around the shower, but I guess mold is everywhere at the beach. At 8:30 in the morning, the fire alarm went off, everyone had to evacuate, and the fire department showed up. It was a false alarm because the fire system had failed. In my opinion, Sea Pointe in Cherry Grove might be a better choice.
The ocean and beach views were great, and it was a really comfortable, nice place to stay for a North Myrtle Beach vacation.
The pool is small and often closed, and the common areas aren't maintained. There is literally mold growing on the walls. I wouldn't stay above the second floor unless you don't mind walking, since the elevator breaks down a lot.
The beach here isn't too crowded, and town is still close enough for whatever you might need. Our unit was very clean and everything worked, so we had no complaints. Sea Marsh II deserves a lot of the credit for a great vacation, and I'd recommend it. There's just one elevator, which can mean a wait sometimes. If you're okay with that, come on down.
