Springs Tower by Elliott Beach Rentals

We'd stayed with Elliot Beach Rental for years, but this was our last time. Ocean Pier 3, room 228, was a wreck. The booking pictures looked beautiful, but the place we arrived at was a disaster. We paid over $1,600 to bring my mother-in-law to the beach, and even though the receptionist was kind and listened when I went to the office, we only got $300 back. They offered to move us a couple of days later, but by then my mother-in-law didn't want to pack everything again. I tried posting this review last year, but it didn't go through. I sent an email with two pictures showing what was wrong. We tried to make the best of it, but we were miserable, and having to run to the store for cleaning supplies and clean the place enough to stay was ridiculous. We'd saved and saved for this vacation. Make sure you walk through the unit before the front desk closes. We usually do, but arrived to check in after the office had closed. We were told maintenance was happening, but while we waited, we saw a couple with a baby leave with luggage and beach chairs. They turned out to be the owners, and we were waiting two hours past our check-in time for them to leave. I can't understand why they'd leave a room like that. They should've told us they were remodeling before we arrived so we could find another place, but they wanted our money. Just so you know, Elliot Rentals don't do walkthroughs to check that places are properly cleaned or meet guest safety standards.

We had a very good time, and the oceanfront view, beach access, and pool were great. We stayed at Oceans 910, whose interior was adequate. The TV programming was a problem since we couldn't figure out how to access Prime or Netflix. That would've been more of an issue if we'd had children with us. Smart TVs would make things much easier. The new microwave was oddly complicated and not user friendly. We mostly ate out, so didn't use the kitchen much.

We really enjoyed staying here. The beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of seating for our group. The kitchen had lots of supplies, too. We had a couple of small issues, but someone came right out to handle them. You don't get much of a beach view, but the sand is only a few steps away, so don't let that put you off.

We always have a pleasant stay with Elliot Beach rentals, and it gives us just what we need. Patricia greeted us at the Ocean Boulevard office when we checked in. She was fantastic, really welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area.
