SureStay Hotel by Best Western North Myrtle Beach

The location was good and, according to my wife, the service was decent. But when we arrived, the room smelled terrible and felt unclean. There was dirt everywhere, and both the bed and bathtub were dirty.

The property is well maintained and comfortable, and Sharon Shepard at the front desk made our stay with her contagious energy, attitude, and customer service. I really enjoyed talking with her. Highly recommend for travelers who want quality service and a comfortable stay!

We walked in and booked the room, so I didn’t make this reservation online. The third night being missing was your employee’s mistake, not ours. Staff should contact a customer to sort that out, not accuse them of being unable to pay because a card was declined. You had no permission to charge that card a second time. I was speaking with customer relations when you rudely came into the room, where I was with three children under 10, and tried to intimidate me. We’d just come from the beach, and the kids were hungry and needed showers. You were rude and aggressive from the first call about the declined card you hadn’t asked to charge. I came to the office to pay for the third night, but your unpleasant face and snotty attitude made me decide you and the facility weren’t worth my money or time. You treated us like squatters and horrible people over a booking problem your employee caused. It could have been handled differently from your first call. You accused me of not paying when it had in fact been paid. Have the day you deserve, ANNA MARIE. I could go on all day. Your responses to other reviews show what kind of person you are. You should be shut down!

This older hotel was just right for my fishing trip. I was traveling alone, stayed on the ground floor, and they gave me a fisherman's discount, so the price was great. The staff were very kind and professional, and the room was clean with everything working. I like the outside entry doors and could back my truck right up to the walkway in front of my room. It’s a nice old-school two-story place with stairs, and in my opinion it’s well kept. I’ll be back for my next fishing trip. Thanks again 👍😎
