Tidemaster 806 - 3 Br Condo

I wouldn't choose this building or its condos for a vacation. Steel beams were being sandblasted in an attempted repair during peak vacation season, and from what I saw, I have concerns about the structure. We also saw roaches, and the general condition left a lot to be desired.

We stayed in #204, which was clean and well stocked. The condo has a nice layout and can comfortably fit six with some privacy, though there were only two of us. Its big balcony has room for lounging or a table for four. There’s a nice boardwalk to the beach with horses and showers, and it was quiet at night. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance, and parking was easy.

We’ve been coming to Tidemaster for several years and keep loving it. The building is very well maintained, and since it’s a smaller condo, it’s quieter with fewer people. It’s a great choice for people 65+.

The elevators smell bad and don’t work about half the time, and people from hotels across the street often come through the beach access. The beach area feels rougher now, with public access just to the south and the huge Wyndham to the north. The whole area seems to be getting slummy. The owners are a pain, though I can see their investment is suffering. Also, be aware that owners’ pets seem to take priority over renters. I was waiting for the elevator when a woman arrived with two big dogs, one barking and growling at me. She got in ahead of me and expected me to follow. No way.
