Tonie, the concierge, arranged excellent dinner reservations for us every night. We also enjoyed live music at breakfast and the laid-back atmosphere. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Inn at Pelican Bay. It has a mini-resort feel, and the staff are extremely friendly. I'd highly recommend it if you're in the Naples area.

The mattress was good and the shower was great. That's about all I can say in its favor. For $600 a night, we expected more. The hotel is dated and very plain, with one elevator that always seemed to mean a wait. Check-in was terrible: nobody at the desk, a line, and a wait, like an inn in Vermont where everyone had gone skiing. At checkout, nobody was at the desk either. The people were nice and friendly when we did find them, but finding anyone when we needed help was the problem. The bar was dingy and weak, with maybe 10 bottles, no food, and no excitement. It felt like a Hilton Garden Inn. There was also a crazy humming noise every 30 seconds all night, enough to drive you mad, and we had no idea where it came from. They market it as the #1 hotel in Naples, which is surprising. We got taken in by that. Bravo, guys.

Everyone here was extremely nice and polite, and their welcome felt real. I believe they enjoy working here. We had a small hiccup with our room, but things happen. They offered to move us and do whatever they could, then moved us to a nicer room without any questions. It's been a very relaxing stay, and I don't want to go home. If we come back to Naples, we'll stay here again, though I usually like visiting new places instead of returning to the same one. Trust me, pick this place and you'll have a good day.

The location is super convenient, with an easy area to walk around. It's a beautiful hotel, and the staff shine even brighter, so kind and helpful. Lovely breakfast and pool area. Highly recommend!

The pool and fire pit were lovely, and the room felt clean and comfortable, though it could use some updating. Our first check-in was a letdown: the front desk worker was cold, a little rude, and didn't greet us. The doorman, though, was fantastic. He was friendly, checked on our luggage and how our trip into town had gone, and got us to our room quickly while staying professional. The evening staff seemed a bit frazzled and disgruntled during the week. We still had a very nice stay and would recommend it.
